Pakistan Reiterates Support for Sovereignty of Libya

New york: Pakistan has reiterated its steadfast support for the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and national unity of Libya. The support was expressed by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during a United Nations Security Council briefing on Libya and the International Criminal Court (ICC).

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized that a Libyan-led and Libyan-owned political process remains the only viable path toward achieving lasting peace, stability, and reconciliation in the country.
