Pakistan Secures $3m to Conserve Marine Biodiversity

Islamabad: Pakistan has secured 3 million dollars from the Global Environment Facility to conserve marine biodiversity. This was announced by Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry in a statement today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project aims to accelerate a shift toward sustainable and regenerative marine and fisheries management and will be executed by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. The project aligns with national priorities and global environmental commitments, developed in consultation with stakeholders.
