Pakistan Seeks Enhanced Defense Ties with Uzbekistan: Asif

Islamabad: Pakistan expressed its intention to strengthen defense cooperation with Uzbekistan during a meeting between Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Uzbek Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev in Islamabad. The meeting underscored the historical, cultural, and religious ties that form the foundation of their bilateral relationship.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Defense Minister Asif emphasized the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Uzbekistan, highlighting the potential for collaboration in mutually beneficial areas, particularly defense.
