Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to expand cooperation with Bulgaria and the European Union in areas of mutual interest. He expressed this sentiment during a meeting with Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Irena Genadieva Gancheva, who visited him in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral engagement. During the meeting, the Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace, stability, and diplomatic engagement, highlighting the mutual benefits of enhanced cooperation between the nations.
