Pakistan Seeks to Boost Trade Ties with EAEU Member States

Moscow: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, recently held a meeting in Moscow with Andrey Slepnev, the Minister in-charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral trade cooperation between Pakistan and the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized the importance of increased engagement in various sectors, including trade, connectivity, investment, and business-to-business exchanges. Both Pakistan and the EAEU expressed a mutual willingness to develop trade and establish mechanisms to strengthen their bilateral relationship.

This meeting underscores Pakistan’s keen interest in fostering closer economic ties with the EAEU, aiming to improve mutual cooperation and explore new opportunities for growth and partnership.
