Pakistan Seeks to Strengthen Ties with Kazakhstan, Deputy PM Dar Meets President Tokayev

Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has expressed Pakistan’s intention to deepen relations with Kazakhstan, covering various sectors of mutual interest. This statement came during his meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Akorda Presidential Palace.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Deputy Prime Minister lauded the ongoing leadership efforts in both countries to enhance their multifaceted ties and cooperation within multilateral frameworks. Dar also commended Kazakhstan’s current presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and assured full support for the upcoming SCO Summit scheduled for July in Astana, highlighting the strategic importance of the summit for regional cooperation.
