Pakistan, Tajikistan agree to boost bilateral trade

Islamabad: In a significant move to enhance economic ties, Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed to set up a joint working group aimed at boosting bilateral trade relations. This decision came during discussions between Pakistan’s Minister for National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, and the Director of State of Tajikistan, Ahmadzoda Nurmuhamad Ato.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting between the two officials focused on various matters of mutual interest, particularly the promotion of bilateral trade and investment. The establishment of the joint working group is seen as a pivotal step towards strengthening the economic partnership between the two nations, fostering closer cooperation in areas beneficial to both.

The initiative reflects a mutual understanding of the importance of trade and economic relations in boosting regional prosperity and development.
