Karachi, March 28, 2013 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), the largest Information Communication Technology (ICT) service provider in Pakistan, held a seminar in connection with ‘Managed WAN Service’, which provides end-to-end solution for its corporate customers’ growing ICT needs.
The ‘Managed WAN Service’ helps companies outsource their networks and personalize modules for individual needs in a secure, dependable and cost effective manner and provides online analytics and reporting, proactive network monitoring and elimination of capital expenditure of developing a network. PTCL signed an agreement with Daewoo Pakistan for provisioning of this service at the seminar.
Hamid Farooq, PTCL Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Business Development while speaking at the seminar said, “PTCL provides corporate solutions in a reliable, flexible and affordable manner, based on our vision of ‘One Company One Solution’. PTCL is striving for end-to-end data and solution integration for the corporate and SME sector in Pakistan and our latest offering is geared towards filling the void for this important segment.”
The opening presentation was delivered by Nauman Ashraf, Senior Manager ICT Products, explaining that this service is specifically designed to cater for the growing business needs of the corporate customers and provides the convenience of tailor made design, build and implementation of networks in a simplified, secure and cost effective manner.
Mr. Samer Ajjawi, Advisory Team Member Etisalat also introduced another state-of-art product at the seminar, ‘Hosted IP Telephonic Solution’, which caters for complete hosted collaboration requirement of corporate customers as a service model.
To cater for the SME sector’s growing needs, an agreement for provisioning of One Window services for the SME sector was also inked between the SME Development Corporation of Pakistan (SDC) and PTCL.
A complete portfolio of Cloud Computing services was also launched by PTCL. This initiative shall enable companies to avail hardware and software infrastructure services from PTCL in a scalable and customized manner, resulting in reduced operational costs and elimination of annual capital expenditures.
