Pakistan to Continue Journey of Economic Development: Yousuf

Lahore: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has emphasized that Pakistan will continue its journey of economic development. Addressing the 6th Global Conference on ‘Islamic Economics Finance and Banking’ in Lahore, he highlighted the nation’s commitment to advancing its economic landscape.

According to Radio Pakistan, Yousuf stated that the Islamic economic system provides an alternative economic model that ensures the fair distribution of wealth and discourages exploitation of the poor. He underscored the importance of this system in fostering economic fairness and stability.

Yousuf further remarked that Pakistan, as an important Muslim country, holds the responsibility to strengthen Islamic financial institutions and expand their horizons. He stressed the significance of these institutions in the country’s economic agenda, advocating for their growth and integration into the broader financial framework.
