Pakistan to Export 143,000 Tons of Halal Meat to Tajikistan

Islamabad: Pakistan is set to export 143,000 tons of halal meat to Tajikistan, marking a significant milestone in trade relations between the two countries. This development is attributed to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which has been instrumental in enhancing trade ties.

According to Radio Pakistan, the halal meat export deal is valued at 14.5 million dollars. This agreement is expected to bolster bilateral trade, potentially expanding it to 300 million dollars. The move is seen as a step towards strengthening regional economic integration.

In addition to the trade in halal meat, Pakistan and Tajikistan have made strides in educational cooperation. An MoU has been announced for the exchange of students and teachers, further solidifying ties between the two nations.

Pakistan’s international collaborations are also expanding. The country recently reached an agreement with Brazil to deepen cooperation in the livestock, dairy, and meat industries.
