Pakistan to Observe ‘Yaum-e-Tameer-o-Tarraqi’ on February 8, Announces Information Minister

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has declared February 8 as ‘Yaum-e-Tameer-o-Tarraqi’, a day dedicated to acknowledging high achievers across various fields, along with other planned activities.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the announcement was made during an event in Islamabad. The minister highlighted the country’s efforts towards political and economic stability, emphasizing ongoing negotiations between political parties to ensure a stable environment for development and prosperity.

Mr. Tarar also shared that Pakistan is set to host the ICC Champions Trophy this year. Preparations are underway to ensure the event is a success, aiming to enhance Pakistan’s image on the global stage.
