Pakistan to Uphold UNHRC’s Mandate Across Board: Asim

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, has stated that Pakistan’s recent election as a member of the UN Human Rights Council, with significant support, indicates the global community’s acknowledgment of Pakistan’s efforts in advancing the human rights agenda.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad expressed through a post on his X handle that Pakistan will approach its upcoming term with a renewed commitment to uphold the mandate of the Human Rights Council comprehensively.
