Pakistan, UK Reaffirm Commitment to Further Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. Yvette Cooper appreciated Ishaq Dar and paid tribute to Pakistan for its role in achieving the ceasefire. She also expressed support for Pakistan’s continued efforts to promote lasting peace and stability in the region. Both leaders reaffirmed the strength of close bilateral ties and committed to further enhancing cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, the conversation between the two leaders highlighted the importance of their countries’ collaboration in regional peace efforts. Yvette Cooper acknowledged Pakistan’s significant contributions and reiterated the UK’s support for Pakistan’s initiatives aimed at fostering enduring peace and stability. Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining and strengthening their bilateral relationship to address common challenges and promote mutual interests.
