Pakistan Urges Immediate De-escalation in Ukraine Conflict

Islamabad: Pakistan has called for immediate de-escalation, the start of meaningful negotiations, and inclusive and constructive diplomacy involving key regional and international stakeholders to pave the way for a just and lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia. Delivering a national statement in the UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine, Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, stated that Pakistan is an ardent and resolute supporter of peace.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Usman Jadoon emphasized that Pakistan has always favored the path of diplomacy, dialogue, mediation, and engagement. He advocated for resolving disputes and differences through peaceful means, highlighting the country’s commitment to peace and stability in the region.
