Pakistan Urges International Community to Support Haiti

Pakistan: Pakistan has called for a sustained and consistent support of the international community to address the challenges faced by Haiti. The call was made by Pakistan’s Acting Permanent Representative to the UN, Usman Jadoon, at the UN Security Council briefing on Haiti.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador voiced concerns over gang violence in Haiti. He welcomed the role of regional countries as well as international partners to extend political and security support to Haiti.
