Pakistan Urges Rejection of Forcible Displacement of Palestinians

New York: Pakistan has stated that any effort to forcibly displace Palestinians or annex their land must be unequivocally rejected and effectively prevented. This declaration was made during informal consultations in New York regarding the upcoming high-level international conference focused on the peaceful settlement of the Question of Palestine and the implementation of the two-state solution.

According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar, highlighted the ongoing human tragedy and suffering in Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing that such conditions cannot be allowed to persist. During his address, Ambassador Iftikhar called upon the international community to lend their support to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab Group in operationalizing the Gaza Reconstruction Plan.
