Pakistan Urges UNSC for Decisive Action to Address Escalating Crisis in Haiti

Karachi: Pakistan has urged the UN Security Council for a decisive action to address the escalating crisis in Haiti. Delivering the national statement during a UN Security Council briefing on Haiti, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, emphasized that the people of Haiti deserve peace, stability, and a life free from fear.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad called on the Haitian political leadership to fulfill its primary responsibility by setting the nation on a sustainable, clear, and inclusive path toward political stability. The statement underscores Pakistan’s commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at resolving the ongoing crisis in Haiti through decisive and coordinated action at the UN level.
