Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said Pakistan attaches great importance to its brotherly relations with Syria. Talking to Syrian Ambassador Dr. Ramez Alraee in Islamabad, he emphasized the enduring support between the two nations during challenging times.
According to Radio Pakistan, Acting President Gilani highlighted Pakistan’s role in the restoration of Syria’s membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He further expressed Pakistan’s willingness to assist in Syria’s reconstruction efforts, underscoring the commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
