Pakistan Values Partnerships in B2B, B2G Collaboration: Aurangzeb

Davos: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of DP World Rizwan Soomar and Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer Yuvraj Narayan in Davos, Switzerland. During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing infrastructure and logistical frameworks in Pakistan to boost trade. The Finance Minister assured that the government values its partnerships in Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) collaboration and looks forward to advancing collaborative projects.

According to Radio Pakistan, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb also held an informal meeting with Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, on the occasion of the inaugural feast of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The banquet was hosted by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab and Chairperson of Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship Hilde Schwab.

In addition, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Chief Executive Officer of VEON, Kaan Terzioglu, and Chief Executive Officer of Jazz, Aamir Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The discussions focused on the expansion of existing cooperation in Fintech services and the broadening of digital inclusivity in Pakistan.
