Pakistani Ambassador and U.S. Congress Members Discuss Expanding Bilateral Relations

Washington: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, recently held a telephonic discussion with U.S. Congressman Jim McGiven and Congresswoman Susan Wild, focusing on ways to strengthen and diversify bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the conversation centered on shared democratic values, human rights, and the long-standing Pak-U.S. relationship. Ambassador Sheikh and the U.S. Congress members agreed on the importance of continuing their engagement to explore avenues for broadening collaboration and addressing mutual interests. Both sides expressed commitment to fostering further dialogue as a means to enhance diplomatic ties.
