Pakistani and Kyrgyz Leaders Discuss Enhanced Cooperation at SCO Meeting

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Mr. Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, met on the sidelines of the ongoing SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting in Islamabad. They discussed strengthening the partnership between their nations, emphasizing trade, investment, and regional connectivity.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting highlighted the Kyrgyz Republic’s active role in the SCO CHG Meeting and its support for Pakistan as the SCO Chair. Prime Minister Sharif expressed his satisfaction with the positive development of bilateral relations and the desire to explore new areas of collaboration. Mr. Japarov commended Pakistan for the successful organization of the meeting and expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown towards his delegation. Both leaders affirmed a mutual commitment to deepening ties and enhancing cooperation across various sectors for mutual benefit.
