Islamabad, The Federal Cabinet of Pakistan, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has formally passed a resolution of condolence regarding the death of Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and their companions following a helicopter crash.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the cabinet session was dedicated to honoring the significant contributions of President Raisi to Pakistan-Iran relations and regional cooperation. The Prime Minister and cabinet members expressed deep sorrow over the losses and extended their sympathies to the families of the deceased and to the Iranian people.
Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the late president’s role as a scholar and a leader whose efforts had greatly benefited bilateral ties and regional stability. The resolution reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continue fostering strong relations with Iran, following the path set forth by President Raisi.
