Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported steady exchange rates in its latest update on the open market. According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the US dollar was being bought at 282.77 and sold at 283.60. The euro was listed with a buying rate of 328.65 and a selling rate of 330.64.
The British pound showed a buying value of 380.19 and a selling value of 382.32. The Japanese yen was quoted with a buying rate of 1.89 and a selling rate of 1.94.
In the Middle Eastern currencies, the UAE dirham stood at a buying rate of 76.96 and a selling rate of 77.20, while the Saudi riyal had a buying rate of 75.26 and a selling rate of 75.50.
These rates reflect the closing values as of August 29, 2025, providing insight into the current foreign exchange market conditions in Pakistan.
