Karachi: The latest currency exchange rates issued by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan show minor fluctuations in the buying and selling prices for major currencies such as the USD, Euro, and GBP between October 16 and 17, 2024.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar buying rate was slightly reduced from 277.84 to 277.76, while the selling rate adjusted from 279.28 to 279.11 from October 16 to October 17. Similarly, the Euro saw a slight decrease in both buying and selling rates, moving from 300.77 to 299.75 and 303.55 to 302.43, respectively. The British Pound also decreased from 360.03 to 358.80 in buying rate and from 363.43 to 362.10 in selling rate over the same period.
These changes reflect ongoing adjustments in the forex market, with similar patterns observed in the rates for the Japanese Yen, UAE Dirham, and Saudi Riyal, which remained relatively stable. The interbank rates also showed minimal variation, maintaining stability in the market.
