Pakistani Diaspora Adopts Oxford Declaration on URAAN Pakistan

London: The global Pakistani diaspora has taken a significant step by adopting the Oxford Declaration on URAAN Pakistan, committing to support initiatives aimed at transforming Pakistan into a trillion-dollar, knowledge-based economy.

According to Radio Pakistan, the declaration was made during a gathering in London where Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the URAAN Pakistan implementation plan. The event, held at the University of Oxford, brought together over 100 delegates from 27 leading international universities and 33 premier global organizations.

The conference’s highlight was the unanimous adoption of the Oxford Declaration, which articulates a powerful belief in Pakistan’s potential. The declaration states, “we, the participants of the URAAN Pakistan Conference, believe that Pakistan’s story is not one of limitations, but of promise waiting to be realized.” This statement reflects the optimism and commitment of the diaspora to work collectively towards the country’s economic transformation.
