Pakistani Federal Minister Denounces Indian Actions in Kashmir on Occupation Anniversary

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Industries, Production and National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, on Sunday issued a strong condemnation of what he described as ongoing atrocities committed by India in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). His statements came as Pakistan observed the 77th anniversary of Indian occupation, a day that he said symbolizes the ongoing denial of basic human rights to the Kashmiri population.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Hussain criticized the Modi government’s policies and actions in Kashmir, characterizing them as reflective of a deeply flawed and oppressive approach. He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination and freedom. Emphasizing the importance of a resolution in line with United Nations resolutions, he called on the international community to actively engage and support efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue peacefully and justly.
