Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended congratulations to President Aleksandr Lukashenko on securing a seventh term as the President of Belarus. The leaders expressed optimism for enhanced bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus during Lukashenko’s new term.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders issued separate messages of goodwill. President Zardari conveyed his best wishes for Lukashenko’s continued success and the prosperity of the Belarusian people.

Prime Minister Sharif, through a post on the social media platform X, emphasized the commitment to advancing the shared vision of stronger relations between Pakistan and Belarus. The remarks highlight the ongoing diplomatic efforts to fortify ties between the two nations.
