Pakistani Rupee Experiences Slight Fluctuation in Exchange Rates

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported minor changes in the open market exchange rates on May 21, 2025. The State Bank of Pakistan released these figures, indicating a modest shift in the buying and selling prices of major foreign currencies against the Pakistani rupee.

The US dollar was observed at a buying rate of 282.94 and a selling rate of 284.00. The euro showed a buying rate of 320.05 and a selling rate of 322.74. In the case of the British pound, the buying rate was recorded at 379.58, with a selling rate of 383.14.

The Japanese yen was noted at a buying rate of 1.93 and a selling rate of 1.97. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates dirham was at a buying rate of 77.09 and a selling rate of 77.50. The Saudi riyal was reported with a buying rate of 75.40 and a selling rate of 75.80.

These exchange rates reflect the ongoing dynamics of the currency market as monitored by the State Bank of Pakistan.
