Pakistan’s Currency Market Sees USD Trading at 281.50

Karachi: Pakistan’s currency market recorded the closing exchange rates for December 2, 2025, with the US dollar being sold at 281.50 rupees, according to data from the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP).

The euro was traded at a selling rate of 328.62 rupees, while the British pound was sold at 374.00 rupees. The Japanese yen showed a selling price of 1.84 rupees.

In the Gulf currencies category, the United Arab Emirates dirham closed at a selling rate of 77.41 rupees, and the Saudi riyal was sold for 75.50 rupees.

These figures were corroborated by the State Bank of Pakistan, which regularly updates exchange rates to reflect market conditions. The rates are a reflection of the ongoing supply and demand dynamics in the country’s currency market.
