Pakistan’s Debt Declines by Rs765b: Khurram Schehzad

Islamabad: Pakistan’s total central government debt has fallen by 765 billion rupees as of August this year.

According to Radio Pakistan, statistics shared by Advisor to Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad on his X handle indicate that this decline underscores progress toward macroeconomic stability.

He stated that the reduction in debt also reflects the government’s commitment to fiscal discipline, driven by controlled expenditures and prudent debt management practices.
