Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister to Engage in Key Talks During UK Visit

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, is set to visit the United Kingdom from September 4 to 8, 2024. The visit aims to facilitate high-level discussions with UK officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs, David Lammy.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senator Dar will engage in extensive talks focusing on bilateral relations, cooperation, and international issues during his stay in London. The agenda includes meetings with Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and a series of discussions with David Lammy.

Furthermore, the visit will also see the Deputy Prime Minister interacting with members of the UK Parliament and representatives from the British-Pakistani community. These meetings are part of an effort to strengthen community ties and ensure the interests of Pakistani expatriates in the UK are addressed.
