Pakistan’s Economy Heading Towards Sustainable Growth

Washington: Minister for Finance, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, has announced that Pakistan’s economy is now on the right track and heading towards sustainable growth. Speaking to media in Washington on Saturday, he emphasized the importance of maintaining the current course and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to implementing ongoing reforms.

According to Radio Pakistan, Aurangzeb highlighted that the economy has been strengthened due to the government’s prudent measures. He noted an increase in foreign reserves, improved inflation trends, a better credit outlook, and a reduction in the fiscal deficit as indicators of recent progress.

He also discussed the inclusion of agricultural income under the tax framework for the first time, describing it as a noteworthy development. Aurangzeb stated that the achieved macroeconomic stability will pave the way for the nation’s sustainable economic expansion.
