Pakistan’s Embassies in Tokyo and Paris Celebrate Independence Day with Flag-Hoisting Ceremonies

Islamabad: Independence Day was celebrated at Pakistan’s embassies in Tokyo and Paris with flag-hoisting ceremonies attended by members of the Pakistani community and friends of Pakistan. In Tokyo, Ambassador Abdul Hameed hoisted the national flag to the tune of the national anthem, while messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister were also read out.

According to Radio Pakistan, in Paris, Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch hoisted the national flag and welcomed members of the Pakistani community, including a large number of children. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch also inaugurated a historic photo exhibition showcasing archival photographs and records highlighting the life, leadership, and enduring legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
