Pakistan’s Film Wins Jackson Wild Media Award

Islamabad: Pakistan’s film ‘Moklani – The Last Mohanas’ has won an award at the Jackson Wild Media Awards, which is widely regarded as the nature equivalent to the Oscars. The film highlights the challenges faced by the Mohana people of Manchar Lake amidst the climate crisis in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the film was directed and produced by filmmaker Jawad Sharif. It was selected from a record-breaking pool of more than five hundred entries, showcasing its significant impact and relevance on a global platform.
