Pakistan’s Finance Minister Seeks Stronger Financial Cooperation with UAE Banks

Islamabad, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb met with senior officials from Mashreq Bank and First Abu Dhabi Bank in Dubai to discuss ways to strengthen financial and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The meeting aimed to explore new opportunities for financial support and investment in light of significant improvements in Pakistan’s economic fundamentals.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Aurangzeb urged the bankers to reconsider their appetite for financing arrangements with Pakistan, highlighting the country’s positive macroeconomic trends and ongoing structural reforms. The discussion was part of Pakistan’s broader efforts to enhance international partnerships and attract investment to bolster its economy.
