Pakistan’s Independence Day Celebrated at Iconic New York City Hall

New york city: Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated inside the iconic New York City Hall, marking an unprecedented milestone in the history of Pakistan-US community relations in New York. The event was jointly organized by New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin and Council Member Linda Lee, in collaboration with the American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG).

According to Radio Pakistan, addressing the event, Consul General for Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai termed the occasion a proud and memorable moment for the Pakistani American community. Speaker Julie Menin praised the Pakistani American community for its valuable contributions to the progress and development of New York City, as well as its strong commitment to both Pakistan and the United States.
