Pakistan’s IT and Digital Services Sector Witnessing Rapid Growth

Islamabad: Pakistan’s IT and digital services sector is witnessing rapid growth. Pakistan’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector has emerged as one of the fastest-growing IT export industries.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2025-26, export earnings from BPO and call centres exceeded three hundred million dollars. Call centre exports recorded a nineteen percent increase during the year, reflecting growing global demand.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has made customer support operations more effective, enabling Pakistani service providers to become more competitive globally. AI-based advanced solutions are bringing significant changes to the outsourcing industry through automation, faster customer services, and data analytics.

Around ninety percent of Pakistan’s call centres and BPO companies are providing services to overseas customers and earning foreign exchange.
