Pakistan’s IT Sector Sees Significant Growth and Global Engagement

Islamabad: Pakistan’s IT sector is rapidly emerging on the global stage through significant growth in exports and digital businesses. During the last fiscal year, the ICT export remittances recorded an increase of 19.7 percent. Amid growing IT activity, 872 new companies related to IT and IT services were registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

According to Radio Pakistan, recently, over twenty Pakistani companies actively participated in an international exhibition held in Saudi Arabia. The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is playing an important role in promoting Pakistan’s IT sector, digital economy, and investment.
