Pakistan’s Liquid Foreign Reserves Position of April 17, 2014

Karachi, April 17, 2014 (PPI-OT): The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $9,849.6 million on 11April2014.The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: –

i)   Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan:     $4,983.9 million

ii)  Net foreign reserves held by banks                 :     $4,865.7 million

iii) Total liquid foreign reserves                      :     $9,849.6 million

During the week ending 11April2014, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by $41 million to $4,984 million compared to $4,943 million in the previous week. No major official inflows or outflows were observed during the week ending 11April2014.
