Pakistan’s Minerals Gain Strong Position in Global Industrial Supply Chain

Islamabad: Pakistan’s mineral sector has secured a strong position in the global industrial supply chain due to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

According to Radio Pakistan, a remarkable increase in mineral exports to China was recorded last year. Exports of copper and copper products from Pakistan rose to 1.14 billion dollars, while exports of raw aluminum reached 14.16 million dollars.

Exports of zinc to China totaled 110.90 million dollars, and chromite exports amounted to 89.43 million dollars. Pakistan’s mineral resources are playing an increasingly vital role in China’s industrial development and green energy projects.
