According to Radio Pakistan, British MP Muhammad Afzal, addressing the Parliament, highlighted Pakistan’s pivotal role in mediating the conflict between the United States and Iran. He emphasized the global appreciation for the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in this regard.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also acknowledged MP Muhammad Afzal’s remarks and expressed gratitude towards the Pakistani government for its initiatives to foster peace. This recognition extends beyond the UK, as Pakistan’s significant contribution to regional stability has been noted by former Indian military personnel as well.

Retired Indian Major General Yashpal Mor praised the leadership and strategic insights of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, which have been crucial in Pakistan’s mediation efforts. He noted that Pakistan has successfully gained the trust of both the United States and Iran by maintaining a neutral position throughout the process.
