Pakistan’s Textile Sector and Industrial Activity Show Growth

Karachi: Pakistan’s textile sector and industrial activity are showing improvement with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). During the first eleven months of the current fiscal year, textile exports rose by 1.83 percent, reaching 16.67 billion dollars.

According to Radio Pakistan, knitwear exports stood at 4.60 billion dollars, while exports of ready-made garments reached 3.97 billion dollars. Cotton yarn exports recorded a 13.35 percent increase, bringing the total volume to 701.1 million dollars.

The positive trend in textile exports reflects the sector’s resilience and the effectiveness of the initiatives taken by SIFC to facilitate investment and boost industrial activity. The continued growth in exports is seen as a promising sign for the country’s economic stability and development.
