Palestine Soladirity Day to be observed on Monday

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will host an All Parties Conference to raise a voice against the ongoing oppression of unarmed Palestinians in Gaza and to support the Palestinian brothers and sisters.

A decision to this respect was taken at a meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and a delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami led by its Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman in Islamabad on Friday.

The meeting also decided to observe a Day of Solidarity on Monday across Pakistan for the unarmed Muslim brothers and sisters suffering from Israeli oppression and brutality in Gaza and Palestine.

It was decided to constitute a committee for Palestine Solidarity Day and the All Parties Conference.

The committee will comprise Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Sherry Rehman, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Nayyar Bukhari.

It was agreed that rallies and seminars will be organized across Pakistan on Monday to express solidarity with the Palestinian brothers and sisters and to raise a voice against the ongoing Israeli oppression.

wal Bhutto Zardari expressed full support for the Day of Solidarity regarding the ongoing oppression of unarmed Muslims in Palestine and Gaza.

The meeting appreciated Jamaat-e-Islami’s solidarity stance with the unarmed Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the All Parties Conference.

The Amir Jamat-e-Islami and the delegation lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for raising voice in his address to the UN General Assembly session against ongoing Israeli brutalities on Palestinians.

They also appreciated the walkout of Pakistani delegation led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the beginning of Israeli Prime Minister’s speech at the UN General Assembly.
