PBC Lahore Celebrates Independence Day with National Spirit

Islamabad: The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Lahore Station commemorated Independence Day with a special flag-hoisting ceremony, reaffirming the spirit of national pride and patriotism.

According to Radio Pakistan, Station Director Dr. Ahmer Sohail Basra, Controller News Sajjad Parvez, renowned broadcaster Khalid Abbas Dar, and other staff members hoisted the national flag at the station’s premises. Following the flag hoisting, a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony took place in the studio, attended by artists, sectional heads, and staff members of Radio Pakistan Lahore.

Addressing the ceremony, Station Director Dr. Ahmer Sohail Basra, Controller News Sajjad Parvez, religious scholar Dr. Tariq Sharifzada, Prof. Dr. Asghar Yazdani, senior artist Khalid Abbas Dar, sectional heads, and artists paid tribute to the forefathers who rendered sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan. They also paid tribute to the Armed Forces for their commitment and sacrifices in defending the country.
