PBS Unveils Interactive Website, User Friendly Dashboards

Islamabad: Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has unveiled an interactive website and user-friendly dashboards to enhance data accessibility for the public. Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated the online facilities on the occasion of World Statistics Day, which was observed on Monday under the theme ‘Driving Change with Quality Statistics and Data for Everyone’.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister also announced a countrywide initiative ‘DataFest 2025: Numbers to Lives’ to promote data-driven innovation and engagement among academia, civil society, and youth. The event is scheduled to be held on the 11th and 12th of next month.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that reliable data plays a pivotal role in decision-making, planning, and policy formulation. He stated that by ensuring public access to data, policymakers are being empowered to make informed and effective decisions.
