PCCR to Visit Sindh Assembly to Address Education Crisis Under Dr. Nikhat Shakeel’s Leadership

Islamabad: The Parliamentary Caucus on Child’s Rights (PCCR) of the National Assembly, led by Convenor Dr. Nikhat Shakeel MNA, is scheduled to visit the Sindh Provincial Assembly on December 3, 2024. The visit aims to establish a Provincial Child Rights Caucus and address the urgent issue of 26.3 million out-of-school children, which has been declared a National Educational Emergency.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the meetings with the Honourable Speaker and members of the Sindh Assembly will focus on fostering collaboration, discussing actionable strategies, and enhancing provincial efforts to safeguard child rights and improve educational access. The visit is part of a broader initiative to tackle pressing challenges in child education and rights across the country.
