PCJCCI initiates B2B meeting with Chinese Company to improve Textile Industry

Lahore, August 23, 2019 (PPI-OT): Chinese delegation has offered to introduce modern technology through joint ventures in the textile industry. Ms. Jiang Xuelian, CEO of Yantai Zhonglian Industry discussed the prospects of collaboration with the local textile units. Executive Committee Member Mr. Dawood Ahmad, Mr. Farooq Ali Khan Sherwani and Secretary General of PCJCCI Mr. Salahuddin Hanif also attended the B2B meeting held in company of a number of the other members. Representatives of various companies of Pakistan’s textile industry making woven fabric, knitted fabric, and flannel fabric took active part in B2B discussion.

Ms. Jiang told that her company was capable of designing, manufacturing, exporting and also making the domestic sale. The company has a self-owned brand YESNOW. YESNOW also won the name of “National green consumption optimization household goods” and “Top ten most influential brand of the ordinary people’s life” and “Top 100 private company in Yantai city”, she added and said, “We want to introduce innovative contemporary technology of Europe to Pakistan,” Our company has established global operation and has self-management export right to export the products to North America, Europe, Australia, Canada and other countries and regions.

Mr. Dawood Ahmad and Mr. Farooq Ali Khan Sherwani, Members of Executive Committee PCJCCI said China had been an incredible support to Pakistan at all times. “The constant assistance of China will do wonders for the emerging economic status of Pakistan and these B2B meetings will certainly have a positive impact on the business community”, they said.

PCJCCI Secretary General Salahudin Hanif, expressing his views on this occasion, said that such B2B meetings will help develop smooth bilateral trade between Pakistan and China. He said, “These sessions will open new vistas of opportunities for Pakistani investors and their Chinese counterparts.” He further added that, counselling with Chinese business community is mandatory to increase the quantum of trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan.

It is notable that PCJCCI has expedited the efforts to hold business-to-business meetings and exhibitions with the aim to provide one-stop shop for all industry products from processing technology to the finished products, which will help develop bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
