Lahore: Provincial Disaster Management Authorities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have issued alerts about heavy rains in different parts of both provinces till Tuesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority in Punjab has forecasted heavy rain with thunderstorms starting from Saturday night. Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority has indicated that similar weather conditions are expected in the region beginning Sunday.
Tourists have been advised to avoid visiting hilly areas during this period to ensure their safety amidst the anticipated adverse weather conditions.
