PDP to Observe October 31 as Black Day, Says Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti announced that her party will continue to observe October 31, the Union Territory Foundation Day, as Black Day until the special powers of the erstwhile state are restored.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti, while speaking to reporters in Islamabad, occupied Jammu and Kashmir, stated, “I want to tell Governor Sahab that for Jammu and Kashmir and especially for the PDP, today is a Black Day. We will continue to observe it as a Black Day until the special powers of Jammu and Kashmir are not restored.”

Mufti further commented, “I’ve said this earlier too that J and K has become a laboratory for BJP…They want to give a message to the minority in the country…”
