Chandigarh, December 01, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Dal Khalsa, an Amritsar-based Sikh organisation, has said that peace in region is directly linked to the settlement of the Kashmir dispute and Kartarpur corridor can play only a limited role in facilitating the dialogue.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Dal Khalsa spokesman, Kanwar Pal Singh, in a statement issued in Chandigarh said directly linking the opening of Kartarpur corridor with Pak-India peace is not only exaggeration of issue but sinister move to ensure that the project runs into rough weather.
He termed the setting up of the corridor by Pakistan and India a welcome step as it fulfills Sikhs’ aspirations for direct access to Kartarpur Sahib that has been a long cherished dream of the members of Sikh community and that nothing more should be attributed to it.
